Crazy in Love

Anyone who saw the Costume Institute's phenomenal Superheroes show in the spring had to have been impressed by Thierry Mugler's clothes in person. Miss Beyonce Knowles was so taken that she hired Mugler (who recently did the costumes for Joey Arias' show in NYC) to be "creative adviser" for her upcoming tour. He will have input on everything from costumes and choreography to sets and lighting. Mugler is also directing some segments for the show, including the finale. I'm happy to see one of my favorite designers having such a huge impact in 2009. And I have a feeling Sasha Fierce wants to wear the motorcycle dress on stage...
